How to make a 'comment' transparent

Not by default.

Comments get their fill color from Windows Appearance settings.

You will have to record a macro whilst you insert a comment then format to
the transparency value you want.

Thank you for the info.
Not that important for a macro, just wanted to make sure there wasnt a
standard format tool.
