Let's try this again.
I want to make a simple chronological list of upcoming appointments, both
recurring and non-recurring. I decided to try to do this using Card View.
It's easy enough to filter out past apppointments (Start on or after Today).
The problem is the sorting. If I sort on Start, the recurring appointments
are put in front of the non-recurring, because Outlook uses the FIRST
recurrence of the appointment, not the NEXT recurrence. I want
non-recurring and next recurrences all to be in chronological order. e.g.
somebody's birthday of August 9 would appear in my list at August 9, 2003,
not at August 9, 2001 when I entered the recurring appointment into Outlook.
I looked for a sort field that would use the date of the NEXT recurrence of
recurring appointments, rather than the FIRST recurrence, but I haven't
found anything that will do the trick.
Using OL98.
TIA.
