How to make footer smaller

How do I go about making the footer smaller on my report, Form design
lifting the bottom up does not work?

You probably have a control (perhaps a line) right at the Page footer
bar which is preventing you from moving it upward. Move the control
first, then move the bar.

Well, yes, I suppose deleting everything on the Form will indeed let you
make it smaller.

But the easy way to (not-too-destructively) take care of this is to
- first EXTEND the size of the detail pane so you can see what's at
the edge,
- then drag a rubber-band selector around the area that you think
might contain the control that's in your way,
- then move, resize, or delete the control that's out of place or too big

Then you should be able to re-adjust the height of the section.

Adjusting the width of the page is similar -- use the rubber-band
selector to identify troublesome controls and delete or move them, then
re-size the page as you wished.
