How To Make My Customized Office Security Settings "Stick"?

In any of the components of Office 2007, but especially for me in WORD &
OUTLOOK, I customize my program security settings by going to Options ->
Trust Center Settings -> Macro Settings, and click on "Enable all macros ...
" , then ActiveX Settings, and click on "Enable all controls without
restrictions and without prompting ... " , click OK and work without problems
Until, I exit the component program. If I go back in to a component program,
the Macro Settings have reverted to "Disable all macros except digitally
signed macros ... " plus similarity of reverting under ActiveX Settings.
This means that each time I open a component program of Office 2007, I have
to manually customize the Security Steetings to have them how I want them to
be. Anyone else have this problem? Better yet, anyone found a solution,
work-around, etc., to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ken,

If this is a business computer it's possible that the IT folks may have elected to lock out certain options.

If it's a personal machine, are you logged in as administrator when making the changes (they write to the registry). If you are, do
you get the same result if you make one change in the options, close the program and restart it?

No its no a business computer, though I use it for home-office use in my solo
private home-office practice work. I am the IT dept...the everything dept.
Yes, I am logged on as an Administrator, all of the time that I use my PC,
and therefore whenever I make the changes, wholly or in part. Yet same
results turn-up. Thanks for your interest!
