How to make Project Server send emails?

Gentlemen
How can I configure Project Server to send emails about notifications? I
remember when I installed it, that I filled smtp info but I'm not sure if I
have filled with correct information at that time.
Does I can rely on an external mail server? In my installation, I haven't an
email server installed here.

(a) You can change the SMTP server by going to:
"Admin", then
"Customize Web Access", then:
"Notifications and Reminders"

You can add a URL or a just a plain IP address to the SMTP mail server.
(You can also add any customized message that get sent out...)

(b) Yes, you need an SMTP server for the mail to work.
Yes, it would be better to have a different server function as a mail
server; however, you can make the Project Server an SMTP server; but that's
adding additional load on your server, so I don't recommend doing that.
