How to make table dimensions unchangeable?

I am creating custom label templates using a table in Word. I have the
table formatted to exactly replicate the label sheets I will be
printing on. My question is, how do I set up a table (or template?) so
that the table dimensions will not change when I type in it? For
example, every time I hit the return key, the cell changes from 14
lines high to 15...and messes up the rest of the table. I want the
table itself to be "locked". How do I do this?

One way:

Select a cell in the row. Choose Table/Table Properties... In the Row
pane of the Table Properties dialog, click the Specify height checkbox,
enter the height you want, and set the dropdown to "exactly".
