How to Make Word my default Web page editor

I have followed all the stpes to make Word my default web page editor but it
still does not appear in the file menu (0f Word or of IE) abd I do not get
the message asking if I want to set it as the default. Oddly, it will appear
in my Word file menu occasionally and unpredictably.

Did you choose Word as your HTML editor in the Internet Options dialog box?
That should work.

Note, however, that Word isn't the best choice for HTML editing.
