How to mantain the original Assignment Units to a task

Hi,

if you assign a resource 25% to a task during several days and the resorces
reports more than 2 hours one day, the % of assignment changes to a grater
value. If this occurs in all project task, it is not possible for the PM to
know the orginal % of assignment and, in fact, with the value that Project
continues re-plannig the task.

¿Is it possible to show this original value for each task?

Thanks!

While the display changes to show the "peak usage," the underlying
assignment does not not change. In other words, the PM should be able to
look at the time-phased data in the Task or Resource usage view and see that
data. If the person is scheduled for 2 hours of planned work of an 8 hour
day, one can safely assume that the original units value was 25%.

Thanks for your answer!

The problem is that the PM has to change the view from Gantt to Task Usage
or Resource Usage to know the original assignment value. That's to many work
for the PM.

I hope MS will take this into account in future versions.
