How to match case of characters while importing data into access?

I am trying to import data from a table in db III format into Access 2003.
I noticed that sometimes the Access in not matching the case of the
characters.

for example, its importing "721((,A" as "721((,a"

This field is the unique id and so i want it to pe perfectly matched.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

You positive that the data is 721((,A in the dBase file? Is it possible that
there's a format that's been applied to the data, but that it's actually
stored as 721((,a?
