How to merge and print automatically?

I have a .cvs file that is exported automatically from a system. This is then
merged using word to create a printed report . This is happening with no
problem.

How can I get word to look every few minutes to see if a now cvs file exist
and then merg/print without someone having to do it? Best case I could tell
word or some sort of batch file to do this merge and print then delete to cvs
file so it doesn't get printed twice.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hi,

What you are looking for is an app that runs as a service on your PC and
then launches word or other applications based on input criteria showing up
in a "watched" location. For my OctoTools software (designed for automated
processing with medium to large volume throughput with forms design, pdf
creation, e-mail and mail merge) I provide a watcher which launches my
software whenever a file with a specified extention is placed in a watched
directory. I am not sure, but I'll bet there are a number of available
watcher programs available out there. By the way, you may want to utilize
CSV files as opposed to the CVS files you mentioned, unless of course your
pharmacy has no objections. Good luck.

Hi again,

I did a little checking and you should look for a launcher program. I
googled quite a few (but did not research which is appropriate) and there
seemed to be many that are low cost and shareware as well.
