Hi folks,
my customer wants to migrate a SQL server in a standard set up, i.e three
servers, the SQL, Project, and Exchange server. I tried this in a small
environment without success. I like to use the OLAP cube afterwards...
Any documents referring to this topic how to migrate a (Microsoft) SQL
server from one machine to another, with respect to the project server?
What have I to alter (like the SQL server entry in the project center, or
the database connection of the analysis service)
After this trial my customer like to switch databases from Microsoft to
Oracle next year, what I don't consider wise, but anyhow, what have I to
take into account? Is this limitation still valid, Oracle does not
function with a project server like it was with version 2000? What are
the drawbacks, if it is possible with version 2003?
Thanks in advance
