How to modify a project name?

Hi,

How could I modify/change the name of a project in MS Project?

Go to File...Properties...Title and edit text to change
the "permanent" name. To change the name on a printout,
go to File...Page Setup...Header and edit the title.

GinaMaria,
Are you just trying to change the file name or are you trying to change
the Title of the file?

To change the file name go to File/Save As and re-name the project.

To change the file Title go to File/Properties Summary tab and enter a
new file Title.

If you are trying to change the name of the project in either Project Server
2002 or 2003, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Save the project as an .mpp file
2. Ask your Project Server administrator to delete the project from the
database
3. Import the project into Project Server using Tools - Enterprise
Options - Import Project to Enterprise

On the first step of the import wizard, you can give your project a new
name. Hope this helps.
