How to modify Notebook template?

Edit: Sorry to readers on the Entourage newsgroup...I wasn¹t watching where
I was placing my post.

After upgrading to OS X 10.4, I discovered most of my OpenType & TrueType
fonts had been disabled. Even though I re-installed them, the bulleting in
my Notebook layout is different. How do you change the default settings for
the Notebook layout? (Obviously, I am on Word 2004.)

Has this happened to anyone else after upgrading to Tiger?

Change to Normal View, then modify the Note Level styles to suit. Click
on the Add to Template checkbox.

I haven't had any discernable difference, other than all apps appearing
to run a bit faster (but that may be my imagination).
