How to move e-mails from outlook to a company network?

I am trying to get one central storage locations for my office's e-mails.
Right now everyone has their own e-mails on their own computers. I would
like to be able to move them into a one central location on the company's
network. This would be for maintaining better records. Does anybody know
how this is done?

Getting an Exchange server would be one way.
