How to move meeting on calendar after organizer has deleted it?

A meeting organizer set up a yearly reoccurring meeting from his calendar.
He removed one occurence of the meeting from his calendar and now cannot move
or send an update to all the attendees. Is there anyway to get the meeting
back on the organizer's calendar?
