How to move other notes databases?

J

John

I have a secondary notes database that contains all my old
emails. This is a local nsf file. In notes I have to open
it separately from my mailbox.

I would like to somehow move it all into a pst file.

Any ideas how to easily accomplish this? Of course I have
lots of folders organizing the mails.

Microsoft Importer for Lotus Notes Mail
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/downloads/2000/notesimporter.asp

Notes Mail Importer moves existing Lotus Notes mail databases to Exchange
so that users can preserve information stored within their Notes mail
database. Notes Mail Importer automates the migration process, making it
less time and resource intensive for IT and system users. The importer also
moves encrypted messages from Lotus Notes to Exchange. As part of the
migration process, it also resolves the addresses of authors as it converts
messages so that users can use Reply and Reply to All directly from
Exchange. This saves time when replying by removing any need to alter or
re-enter e-mail addresses.

Important: This utility does not work for Notes 5.x.
The mmail.exe is available in the

Thanks for the info however we are still using the notes
server not exchange server hence the need to use the
connector.

John,

Have you installed the Outlook Connector? If so, does Outlook show the
folders in your local .nsf file? If so, can you drag and drop those folders
to an empty Outlook Personal Folder File (.pst)? I have had success in
using the Connector to copy folders (and the messages inside them) from my
main .nsf file to an Outlook .PST file using drag/drop, so I don't see why
this wouldn't work with a local .nst file.

The local nsf file contents don't appear in Outlook.
That's essentially the problem. I tried using mmail.exe.
That failed also.

Thanks for trying
