How to MOVE send messages to a folder

I have 2 emails accounts in the Microsoft Outlook. say A and B

Email account B is used to forward emails that are received from a fax
server to respective staff.

So I want to separate these sent(forward) emails from the sent emails from
Email account A.

But I cannot MOVE sent emails (from email acccount B) to a specific folder.

Plse provide solutions.

I am trying to understand your question.

1. What type of accounts are these? IMAP, POP3, or Exchange?
2. Are both of these accounts in the same Outlook profile or are they in
separate profiles? Do you have to close Outlook to access another account?
3. What version of Outlook are your using?
4. Is your concern about how to identify the already sent e-mail or how
to automatically move mail as it's being sent?

Please be more clear in what your end goal is. If I understand why you
are doing this, I can probably suggest a way to get it accomplished.

POP3

I don't have to close Outlook to acces another account (I guess this
means that they are in the same Outlook profile??)

Office Outlook 2003

I want to automatically move mail as it's being sent. Right now,
mails sent via Acct A and Acct B are all mixed into the 'Sent' folder.

Please be more clear in what your end goal is. If I understand why you are
doing this, I can probably suggest a way to get it accomplished.

OK, so the real concern is putting the messages in the right Sent Items
folder as right now everything is one giant box.

It's very easy in Outlook 2007.

For Outlook 2003 you'll need to look at some workarounds.

You'll need to do two things: first, turn off the option to save sent messages
in the Sent Items folder. Second, create two rules. The first rule would
move a copy of all messages sent through account A to the folder you want to
contain outgoing messages for that account. Include the "stop processing more
rules" action as well. The second rule will move a copy of all messages sent
through account B to the folder you want to contain outgoing messages for that
account. It, too, should include the "stop processing more rules" action if
you ever add any more rules to the list.

The drawback to this approach is that the messages will be marked unread in
the folders targeted by the rules. If you don't like them marked that way,
you'll have to periodically right-click each folder and choose "Mark all as
read".

When My. Knyshov says it's "easy in Outlook 2007", I don't think he's correct
unless you're using an IMAP account. With an IMAP account, you can specify a
separate Sent Items folder for each account, but not for POP accounts. For
that type of account, you can only specify separate Inboxes for each account,
as far as I can tell.

I usually test things before I say them.

Here is proof of the multiple sent boxes scenario.

1. Add more than one POP3 or IMAP account to the profile.
2. Add new Outlook Data File for the POP3 account from the manage data
files/change folder button dialog box
3. Set the incoming mail to go to the Inbox of that mail store
4. Send a new message and use the account button to send it through that
POP3 account

Your message will go through a global Outbox, but it will ultimately
wind up in that POP3 account store's Sent Items.

I don't have Outlook 2003 handy to verify this on that release but I'll
look into later.

Unlike on IMAP, where we can assign an arbitrary folder, on POP3 it
appears to be hard-wired to its corresponding PST.

That's good to know. Since I could find no way to specify an alternate Sent
Items folder (and since I'd never use a separate PST for an incoming POP
account), it appeared tha it wasn't possible. In my own defense, I did say "I
don't think he's correct" and not "he's wrong."

Sorry, I managed to turn off option and have separate sent emails folder
nicely done. It works fine now.
