We have a very very simple DB (flat file coming off a tick box form) that is
split into FE and BE with several users imputting records over the NW. Only 1
user actually uses the data, and then only creates Queries to count with. As
we have had some problems with data disappearing I am setting up a blank .mdb
for her to save ONLY her queries in. But - I don't want her to be able to
update from her 'Query' .mdb, only from the proper menu driven BE system. I
only work a couple of days a week so it has to be simple - can't use
Security, for example and have tried copying the .mdb - which caused
confusion. Any idea of how to simply stop the linked DB from updating? Is it
possible to do so?
