how to number cards

I'm using Word to print a number of tickets for an event
using a business card template. I would like to place a
number on the bottom corner of each card to represent the
ticket number. Is there a way to automate this without
having to manually enter the number?

You want the simple way?

1) Make a page of tickets.

2) Insert a ListNum field to print the number (look up ListNum fields in the
help for instructions).

3) Copy the first page.

4) Paste enough times to give you enough cards.

5) Print...

Takes longer to describe it than it does to do it. It's not elegant, but
how long do you want to spend on this?
