how to open a publisher 97 document in 2003

Website publications

I have a website that has been made on publisher 97 and we have recently
upgraded to publisher 2003. I am unable to open this in the new upgraded
version, does that mean I have lost it completely?

Do you have Norton? In Norton Options, misc., disable script blocking and
disable Office Plug-in.

If you still have Publisher 97, why not re-install it in its own folder and
continue using it for you web site. There is a world of differences in 97 and
2003. WordArt isn't compatible, coding has changed. Someone will come along and
explain better.

Microsoft made some big changes in how Publisher produces websites after Pub
2000, and it might be (probably would be, IMHO) to your advantage to load
Pub 97 into a different folder than Pub 2003 and continue using it to
produce your website, and Pub 2003 for your print documents. David Bartosik

read in making this decision:
