B

Bewildered

I received an email attachment labeled

Name: Home Inspection.tif
Type: MSPaper.Document

I can not open it.
I get "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing
this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

WHAT???

A .tif is a picture. Save the attachment. Right-click the .tif, properties,
opens with...change. There will be options or you can select a program.

I hope this is the write thread to try this. I have hundreds of .tif
photos on my computer. Somehow, I'm not sure, but the file extension o
all my photos on my computer have become an ms.paper document typ
file.

How can I change this? Or turn them back to .tiff files? I'm not eve
sure that I have ms.paperdocument on my computer? I hope that somebod
may have an answer to this problem.

Thank you, anybody, in advance.

JoAnn,
Thanks for the input, I realize I can open these files with Microsof
image, however, why have all the file extensions on 1,000 image
changed? They used to be all ending with 001.tiff, now they sa
001.ms.paperdocument, as an example. How can I get all these pictur
files to revert to their original .tiff type file?
Thank you very much for your input.
