How to open blocked photos?

D

DAKING

Hoping somewhat can help me. My dad cannot save photo email attachments (JPG)
I send him (or from others) - gets some screwy message that they're blocked.
He can view them in his email, but he can't open or save them to his computer
using Outlook Express 2000.

I read up a little on this in a training course, but couldn't seem to find
the answer as to how to disable this feature. OE seems to be trying to
protect his computer from opening harmful things, but clearly a photo I'm
sending him isn't one of these.

He used to not have this issue when using Netscape, but changed hard drives
recently and wanted to switch to outlook. Didn't know what to tell him - I
don't have this problem with Outlook on my computer.

How can he correct this? Thanks Much!

Not sure. I'll have him try it.

But I thinking there has to be some way to disable this feature (hassle).

There's no such thing as Outlook Express 2000.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup. (Hint. Click Tools>Options>Security)
I don't have this problem with Outlook on my computer.

Outlook and Outlook Express aren't the same thing.
