Hi,

From PowerPoint¹s File menu choose Save As. In the File Type section choose
PowerPoint Package.

Copy the resulting folder to the CD.

Hi again

thanks for your help. The answer is right heare in front of my eyes and I can´t see it. thanks one more time.
I hope you can answer me another question about power point 2008. I want to insert an object of type video .wmv or .mov but the aplication shows an error: "The server aplication, source file, or item cannot be found. Check that the path and file name are correct, or try reinstalling the server aplication."

Have I really the trouble to reinstall the aplication? or am I missing something.

Thanks

Hi,

PowerPoint uses QuickTime to play movies.

From the Apple menu in the upper left corner of your screen choose System
Preferences. Click on QuickTime

Click the Advanced tab.

Click the MIME settings button

Click the disclosure triangle next to Video

Click the checkbox Windows Media (and any others you think you might
encounter).

Click OK.

Close the window.

If QuickTime still won¹t play your wmv files then install Flip4Mac (free)
http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28842

I also install an FLV player called Perion
http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/30931

With these additional codecs installed I find QuickTime can play just about
everything.

Hi Jim

Excuse if only now I answer but it stows very busy.
I did try the things you ask me to, but it did not resolve the problem . I can play videos .wmv , .mov or .avi in my mac but what I want to do is to insert this videos in Power Point as an Object (Menu Insert - Object...) . And when I try to do that in the box "Object Type:" don't happers the video type to be selected. If I try to choose "Create from file" it gives me the error that I already describe for you (see Messenge before)

Ok , My answer is - Why can't I insert this videos as an object?

Excuse for the bother and thanks once again.

Hi,

There's a whole concept of "object" that is a special case when you use
Insert > Object. The concept kind of "object" being referred to by this
feature is a special kind that gets put into a document as OLE (Object
Linking and Embedding). Usually this kind of object is a document from a
different program (an Excel workbook in PowerPoint, for example).

Movies and sounds are linked and embedded, and they are objects, too. It
certainly sounds reasonable to expect these media files to be able to be
inserted from Insert > Object, but the handling of movies and sounds is
quite different from OLE objects.

Use Insert > Movies and Sounds > From File. You'll see different dialog
boxes and options that are tailored to dealing with media files.
