I need to copy text from an Excel workbook, and paste it into Word without
gridlines. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

In Word, from the "Edit" menu, do a "Paste Special..." If you pick the
"Unformatted text" line, I guess you'll get what you want.

Are you pasting your data as a picture? If so, I have found that if the
gridlines are set to print in Excel, they'll always paste over into
Word. If you turn this off (via the Page Setup dialog), the gridlines
should not appear in the picture.
