How to place buttons upon a picture?

M

MazQue

I have a problem putting a button upon a picture.
Is there a "free mode" so i can design my page, without a grid, moving
everything around just the way i want it?

If you want the page to display the way you want
it to in most browsers - there is no free mode.
The web is not print - you cannot assume that a
browser is any particular width. You cannot
assume that the text size used in any browser is
the size you set - people change browser sizes
and text sizes.

Layout your pages using margins and padding on
elements. To place an element on a picture, make
the picture a background image for an HTML
container (paragraph, table cell, div or span
etc.).

If you give more detail, we may be able to give a
specific solution.

FrontPage (and Expression Web) does not work that way.
Make the picture part of the background using a style then place your button
where you want.
