I'm new to database-driven website design. I have successfully created
a form that adds order info into a Access database. I am currently
using a drop-down menu to populate the name of the client. However, I
want users to be able to add new clients if they are not already listed
in the drop-down menu. Obviously, hard coding the clients name into the
HTML form code won't work. Therefore, I was hoping to link the
drop-down menu to a database and use a separate form for users to
update the client database if they need to. I know that I can't use
nested forms. And I have tried to use VBScript with no success. Can
anyone offer some guidance?
--> I have seen the previous post "Front page and access 2000" and have
read the KB articles therein and have yet to find a solution.
--> I have also been to the "User Tips: Populations a Drop-Down List
the Easy Way using SQL and VBScript"
but could not get even the example to work.
Thanks,
Mike
