How to pre-populate Outlook message

D

Daniel

I am running Office 2003 and am continually sending messages with the same
data in the subject field and main text. Can yanyone tell me a way to have
those fields prepopulated? I cannot get forms to work the way I want them to.
Are there any step by step type papers that can help.
Thanks

One method is to turn off WordMail as your editor, create a message, then save it to your desktop as an .oft file. You can then run that file at any time to create a new message.

Daniel,

I just put the info in the body of the e-mail (I use Word as my editor and
leave it on), then save it as a draft with no names in the "Address (To)"
block. I then drag it from my "Draft" folder and copy it to my desktop.

I use this as a template for Phone Messages when my co-workers get
calls...then I click on the Icon on my destop and the e-mail opens up with
the info in there, read for me to add info and address & send it.

Very easy to do.
