How to prevent black fills?

I have a problem when I insert grouped JPEGs into word,
that the white space between them shows black in the wrod
document. I group them in powerpoint, and had had no
problem with the previous version of word.

Hi Bob,

I'm assuming you're using Word 2002 or 2003.

How are you inserting this grouped picture into Word?

If you're using the clipboard paste them (Edit=>Paste=>Special
using PNG, Drawing Object or HTML format, or after inserting/pasting
as JPEG use the transparency tool from the Word Picture Toolbar
on the black area and see if that clears it up.
