How to prevent excel from giving away the link/object reference when paste in word/powerpoint?

Hi,

I have a Excelfile with a lot of vba and I run into trouble when you paste
something, charts(actually chartobjects..) from the excel file to powerpoint
or word.

I have only control of the excel file and it's vba. Does anybody know how to
prevent excel from giving away the link/object reference - but of cource
still allow you to paste pictures of copied selections...
