Outlook 2007 resizes and recompresses my .jpg pictures. How can I prevent
this from happening? I am a photographer and need to send my pictures
exactly as I save them.
I do not edit the picture or apply any formatting to it after I insert it
into my HTML message. I simply select a black background, insert my picture,
center all, type some text and change its font and color. After I send the
message (but not before), its pictures are resized/compressed.
I tried following Outlook 2007's Help instructions, but no matter what I
select, check or uncheck in the "Compress Pictures" or its "Options" pop-up
window, Outlook 2007 compresses my 353K (900x600) picture to 46K . If I
don't select the option at all, it still compresses my picture. I don't know
the final size or resolution, because I can't copy the picture from Outlook
2007 as I can from Outlook Express 6.
FYI, Outlook Express 6 works fine (i.e., no resizing and no compressing).
