How to prevent Outlook from reducing pic file size when emailing

I have created an email flyer where I converted a pdf file into a jpg, and
have inserted this high resolution jpg into the body of my email. Properties
shows it is 4 mb.
When I send it, Outlook is automatically reducing the file size to 212 kb.
I want this file to maintain its clarity. How can I control the size of file
mailed?
