How to prevent Schedulers to create a Project workspace

In one of my client, Schedulers are not authorized to create a project
workspace (Client policy) when they plan to publish a plan. Can we forcebly
stop this? or can we stop the pop up message screen (Challenge screen) when
we choose publish option?

Thanks,

Given this security requirement, I would create a custom security Group
called Schedulers, and then add your schedules to ONLY this custom Group.
If they are in any other security Groups, remove them from those existing
Groups. In the new custom Group, add the My Organization and My Projects
categories to the Group, and then set the permissions for this Group the
same as the permissions for the Project Managers group...with one exception.
Select the My Projects category, and in the category Permissions grid,
DESELECT the Publish Project permission. Doing so will prevent them from
publishing a project entirely. This means that someone else, such as the
project manager or the PMO staff (if you have a PMO), must publish the
project after every round of updates. This is the closest you can come to
meeting your client's security requirements. I do not believe there is any
way to allow a scheduler to publish a project, but prevent them from
creating the Project Workspace on the initial publishing operation. Hope
this helps.

Hi.

You can also set the Manage SharePoint Services Permissions to "deny" in the
security template and group. Usually this is an admin permission and not
activated for project managers. But the project workspace creation popup will
only be stopped when set to deny.
When you do this only the project is beeing published but the user cannot
create workspaces anymore.

Hope this helps.
