how to print 3 labels instead whole page

I use Windows XP. In the "labels" section, when I want to print a label, the
only choices I am given are to print a single label or a whole page. Why
can't I print 3 labels if desired?? If you choose single label, it prints
one and then erases your input, and if you want to print another, you have to
insert your addressee again. I use Staples 8 1/2 x 11 sheets equivalent to
Avery 5160/8160. Dell Photo 926 printer. Thanks

Instead of clicking the Print button in the Labels dialog, click the New
Document button. Fill in any of the labels (if you don't see the outlines,
click Table > Show Gridlines) and then print the document.

You can start with the Address box of the Labels dialog empty, which gives
you a label document with all of the labels blank -- which you can fill in
by copy/paste, and they can all be the same or different as needed. Or start
with the Address box of the Labels dialog filled, which gives you the same
address in every label in the document, and you can then delete the text
from the labels you don't want to print.
