how to print on filofax without editing documents

I want to be able to print documents to filofax paper using the 'zoom'
function on the print command -ie not by editing the actual document. But
when I choose 'zoom' and 'user-defined paper size' it doesn't seem to let me
define what the 'user defined paper size' actually is! I can define it in
'print options' but then of course it reformats the whole document instaed of
just shrinking the printed output.

Thanks

Unless your printer driver allows you to create new custom pages, you won't
be able to do this.

You should be able to do it with ClickBook, which is expensively priced -
http://www.bluesquirrel.com/products/clickbook/ and my recollection is that
the company will inundate you with spam, but maybe they have learned the
error of their ways as it has been some time since I tried it.
