How to print out an outlook element?

Hello,

is it possible to print out a specific outlook element (MailItem) from
within an outlook COM-Addin to an other than the default printer? If yes,
how?

Not if you use the Print method. Outlook reads the default printer at
startup so you'd have to change the setting before Outlook was started.

Many of us have given up on the very weak Outlook printing and just output
what we want printed to Word or Excel and use the vastly better printing
from there.
