How to print screen so I can capture dropdown window.

E

Ellen Taylor

With previous Window products I was able to capture a screen with drop down
menus by just pressing the print screen button then going to my Word doc. and
either doing CTRL+v or paste. The ALT+print screen and then print screen when
in doc. doesn't work with my new laptop. Nor does my old way work. I haven't
gone to Snagit nor used the MS Paint process because there should still be a
simple process as before. Is there a componet that I haven't downloaded?

It has never been possible to capture menus or list boxes with Print Screen.
SnagIt (www.techsmith.com) is a powerful tool, reasonably priced, and there
is a free trial available.
