How to print Task Assigments but with...

Hi,

How can I print task assigments but with the ability to select the level
of task you want to print. I need the following columns:

Resource Name
Task Name Task % Advance Start Finish

The problem that I have with the current report is that my low level
tasks don't have any significant meaning, these are held in the parent task,
for example:

Project XXX
Construction
Create Client Combo
Design
Code
Unit Test
Peer Review

When I execute the report "who does what" it doesn't give me the option
to only print "Create Client Combo" it only prints the child...

Does anyone kow how to do this?

Thanks Ahead

An Assignment is one Resource on One Task. As your Resources are correctly
assigned to the lower level tasks, the Summary Tasks do not show up in an
Assignment Report.

You can create Filters that show the parent tasks as well, but not I think
in Assignment Views. You may need to create a VBA macro to produce what you
want.

Hello Lucas,

Try taking a look at the Resource Usage view. You can add the field
named "Task Summary Name" as a column to the report to show the
assignment's "parent" task name. I'd add any additional fields
(Start, Finish, % Work Complete) and then print just the left side.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
