How to programatically determine if hyperlinks is followed

Jayesh

Hello,

How can I programatically (VBA or VC++ addin) determine if a given
Hyperlink in a Word (2000 or XP) document has been 'followed' or not?

The characters of the followed hyperlinks have style as "Hyperlink"
instead of "FollowedHyperlink".

I couldnt find a satisfactory answer from older (Jan 2001) postings
about this question here.

My goal here is a macro that says: Out of X number of links in this
document, you have followed Y.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jayesh,

I rememeber the older postings, and I remember forwarding the question to
Microsoft at the time. The answer that came back was that they couldn't
think of a way of doing it either.
