How to publish a database

I have a website done in Publisher 2002 and can update to 2003. The site
contains over 100 performer profiles (one per page) and the entire site is
nearly 150 pages. To say the least, it is getting out of hand and will only
get worse as new profiles are added. Is there any way of creating a database
that contains the profiles done in Publisher? Each profile contains a photo,
text box, a link to the appropriate page for purchase of the publication and
a link back to the table of contents. Some of the profiles do have a sound
file of the performer singing a song. Other than that there is not a lot of
fancy stuff going on.
I have worked with databases, mostly Approach, but realize whatever is used
must be generic enough for anyone visiting the site.
Appreciate any help. This thing is just too big!
Thanks
Donald

Larger sites, including http://www.publishermvps.com , are database driven.
A database driven web site is behind the scope of Publisher. I believe a
database can be used with a FrontPage site, but typically using a database
involves using a programming language such as asp.net (www.asp.net)

As for a large Publisher web, I discuss another way to manage a site in this
article - http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=81
