how to publish a subdomain

Kim

I am trying to add a subdomain, to be a members section on my website
creditrepairplan.com. I set it up in my server, members.creditrepairplan.com
but how do I publish the pages? Do I have to create a seperate website or can
I build it in the same pages as my original website? I'm very confused. I
tried making it and publishing it, saved it as "member".htm,
members.creditrepairplan.com.htm Let me know what I am doing wrong. - Kim

You need to create a subweb / subsite called "members" then you open/access/publish to as follows:

http://www.creditrepairplan.com/members/

You web host would then point the subdomain to the subweb / subsite, so the it would be accessible
in a browser via http://members.creditrepairplan.com

Note: Depending on how the host set this up, you may not be able use FP forms, discussion web, etc
under the subdomain, only via the subweb / site URL above.

Hi Kim,

Usually members.creditrepair.com would point to creditrepair.com/members in
which case you'd want a sub web then publish to the subweb. If your host has
set up members.creditrepair.com as a seperate site you'd publish directly to
it ie publish to http://members.creditrepair.com
