How to publish a webpage using MS Publisher on the Center Screen?

For now, I can only manage to publish my webpages on the left hand side of
the screen.

Does anyone knows how to publish the webpage on the Center Screen or is
there a function to do so in Publisher?

Thanks

Publisher by design creates websites left justified. I think only Publisher
2000 can create a website which can be centered by adding the html code
<center> into the html files.

Hi Don,

I am currently using MS Publisher 2007 Beta. Any functions that can "centre"
the webpage for this particular version?

This built-in functionality was not added to Pub 2007, though it was
requested. You still have to hand code the change if you want to center the
pages, and that would need to be done to each page, each time you make any
change to that page, which makes it a bit impractical.

Read the following article for a better understanding: Understanding
background padding in a Publisher web (aka white space):

Publisher 2000 websites also need to have the code added to each page each
time the page is changed. But a neat little program, "ReplaceInFiles" makes
the chore very easy. A click or two adds the code to all the html files.

"ReplaceInFiles" can be downloaded from:

http://www.emurasoft.com/index.htm

The four boxes require the following information:

Find: <head>
Replace with: <head> <center>
File Types: *.html
In Folder:
(use the button to go to the folder where the html files are
located on your drive)

The bottom four boxes can be left blank.
Note: Once the boxes are filled out, the entries are retained for the next
time you use the program.
