How to publish expression box data in a share point form library

I'd like to make expression box data available in a share point form library similar to that of selected other controls. This should be straight forward, but I am struggling. Any hints appreciated.

You're aware you posted this 4 different times, now, right? Hopefully it's
not a server error.

Expression Box values are never stored in the document. In order to get your
data to appear on SharePoint, you'll have to use a Text Box and make it
read-only.

Thanks for your help. The post appeared 4 times, because each time I got the message that The service was unavailable and I should try again later. (Which I did) As to your answer: How would you solve this:

In a inventory control system I would like to test if the available quantity of a given itme is smaller than the required minimum quantity. Then I would like to filter the sharepoint list for those items that are not present in sufficient quantity.

Why don't you want to use a Text Box and make it read-only? That is the best
way of doing this.
