How to put Access dB on computer without Access ?

Which version of Access allows us to create an data base and then put
it on a computer without Access?

I have 2003 so I think I need to upgrade... but to which version?

All versions since at least 2.0 have had an associated "runtime" version.
What's new in the 2007 version is that it's free. You can get it with 2003 but
it'll cost some money; see

I have just been looking on Microsoft.com and i believe you need Accesss
2007. you can then download AccessRuntime.exe from
