How to quarterpage fold symmetrically on A4 in Publisher

I am a new user of Microsoft Publisher 2003 and have been trying to use it to
create a greeting card with quarterpage fold using standardly supplied card
gallery designs. However, when I print off on A4 paper I seem to have an
unwanted margin of approx 1 cm along the length of the paper which means that
I can't just fold the paper in 4 as intended. This asymmetry is also clearly
there when I do a "Print Preview" in publisher. I have played around with
margin settings on the master page but they don't seem to have any effect.
Any help/direction welcome.

When you make a card, in my opinion, the most important ingredient is getting the
margins right. Determine your printer's limitation concerning the largest margin.
This is the bottom margin printing portrait, the right margin printing landscape.
I'm not a metric person, but assume the largest margin is 1.524cm, this is the number
you want to put into the arrange menu for all four sides.

Thanks - I think this has given me the pointers I need - I'm off to find out
more about the "arrange menu".
