How to re-install Office 2000? Why I have Error 2349?

My Word files are corrupted. When I try to re-install Office 2000, I cannot
finish it. I got Error 2349. What is it? How to fix the problem? Thanks.

Do you get the error message when installing CD 1, or when
installing CD 2? Make sure the CD is clean and not scratched.
If you're using a DVD or CD-RW drive, try installing from a plain
CD-ROM drive, or if you don't have one of those, try copying the
contents of the Office 2000 CD to a folder on your hard drive and
installing from the hard drive.

wanted to thank you for your helpful information. I couldn't reinstall
office 2000 either, and when I googled it with error 2349, I was
directed here. I put the installation CD into the CD-rom drive instead
of the DVD drive, and then it installed!

I love google and helpful people!
