How to read additional created properties from vba (MS Project 200

Greeting,

if I click "File" -> "Properties" -> "Custom" in the menu of MS-Project 2003
Standard, so I can create additional fields ("Add" ).

How can I read and write this additional fields from VBA (6)?
I have no project server. I have a single licenze for one PC.
