How to reapply updates?

I installed office 2007 Pro on a new Windows 7 64 bit PC. I then got sp2 and
a screen full of other updates. Long story, but I ended up uninstalling
office and then putting it back on.
Now Windows thinks I have done all the updates, and they probably are
already downloaded. How do I get Update to detect which updates the
office-as-installed actually needs, and get it to apply them? Alternatively,
how do I reset Office's update status so it will go get them again?

How did you uninstall Office 2007. Did you do it from Add\Remove and did you also
uninstall the Updates that were listed there also or are they still listed there as
installed
