How to receive messages in txt only

Is there are setting to receive/see messages in text only?
If so, what is it? I need to know for both Outlook 2000 and
2002.

Ol2000 doesn't support forcing plain text - you'll need to use scripting or
a com addin to convert messages ot plain text. OL2002 SP2 has a readasplain
key - http://www.outlook-tips.net/Tricks/plain_text.htm

As an alternative, you can use chilton preview to read messages in preview
as plain text without mucking up the messages.
