how to recover a previous version of a saved file in excel 2002

WHILE CREATING A NEW MONTHLY CHECK REGISTER FOR JUNE, I SAVED THE BLANK
SPREADSHEET AS MAY AND CANNOT FIND A WAY TO GO BACK TO A PREVIOUSLY SAVED
FILE OF MAY . . . PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE HELP?

Not possible I'm afraid, saving wipes any temp (autorecover) files and there
is no 'undo'

If you have a windows 2003 server it takes a backup every 12 hours so you
could restore a previous version... otherwise, not back-up, no file I'm
afraid
