Artem

I need help! I'm working with my master thesis and now can't open file with
my raport. Wjen I'm trying to open it I'm getting message "The Office Open
XML file rapport cannot be opened because there are problems with the
contents" and them I'm clicking OK I'm getting one more message "Word found
unreadable contetnt in raport. Do you want to recover the contetnts of this
document? If you trust the source of this document, click YES". I'm clicking
YES and getting again the first message and after that dialog's closing.

Ho can I open this file? Everything was fine just yesterday!

sometimes it helps to ensure
that word is configure to make
back up copies of the files.

however, if the file literally
crashed, then it is likely that
your master file table is
long overdue for a check
disk.

thus any file created after the
hard disk became erroneous,
will be lost when a check disk
is ran in order to reconcile the
master file table (mft) to the
file system.

therefore, I would wait to run
a check disk until you try to
recover the contents of that file.

afterwards, you should run a
check disk.

perhaps, something at this link
can give you some help:

http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=open+xml+converter&FORM=MSNH11

also, you might want to try
opening the file via word
in safemode.

may not help, but worth a
try.

double check to see
if you do have a backup.

here are the instructions
from word help:

--------------------

Open a backup copy

Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Open.

In the box next to the File name box on a computer that is running Windows Vista, or in the Files of type box on a computer that is
running Microsoft Windows XP, click All Files.

If you want to open a backup copy that was saved in a different folder, locate and open the folder.

Click the arrow next to Views , and then click Details.

In the Name column, the backup copy name appears as Backup of document name. In the Type column, the file type for the backup copy
appears as Microsoft Word Backup Document.

Locate and double-click the backup copy to open it.

If you want to work with the backup copy as a regular Word document, click the Microsoft Office Button , click Save As, and then
type a name for the file in the File Name box
